Girls' Night Out: P.F. Chang's Style (And Win a Trip to Boston!)

Writing by Marily, images by Kathryn.

My husband Mark and I have a thing with P.F. Chang's. You see, it's kind of been "our place" since Mark use to work there as an accountant when we were first married. Did you know their headquarters is in Scottsdale, Arizona? As an employee benefit, Mark got $900 on a "Lucky Cat card" (gift card) every year to use at the restaurant and oh, how we loved (and sorely miss) that card!

That being said, I have tried a lot of things on the P.F. Chang's menu.

This time though, I left my husband and kids behind and headed out with Kathryn for a much-needed girls' night to try some new items on the P.F. Chang's summer menu.

We had a fun time trying out some of their tasty drinks (non-alcoholic for us) and delicious new foods.

Chang's coconut cooler for me, and a strawberry cucumber limeade for Kathryn.

As always, the food was great. I have never been disappointed with a stop at P.F. Chang's.

Heirloom tomato salad. Heirloom tomatoes, thai basil, avocado, and ponzu dressing. Just one of the fresh items on their seasonal menu.

Kathryn and I got caught up talking about foster parentingschool starting, and of course spent lots of time discussing what we want to do with I Heart AZ.

If you must have your own plate at P.F. Chang's then we can't go there together. It's so much more fun to share.

Left: Korean BBQ Chicken Stir-Fry (Spicy chicken, with lots of yummy veggies)
Right: Chiang Mai Curry Noodles with Chicken (a light curry sauce on noodles with chicken and crispy wantons). Both dishes were great, one was spicy and bold and one was more mellow so having some of both was perfect.

Now, here's your chance for a great experience from P.F. Chang's too! They are having a contest called Perfect Pairings that runs through August 31st. Enter here for a chance to win a trip for 2 to Boston including dinner at P.F. Chang's and a tour of the Samuel Adam's Brewery. You can also enter to win 1 of 25 P.F. Chang's $100 gift cards.

Good luck!

Kathryn's fortune, though her charity is anything but small (except in size.)
Thank you to P.F. Chang's for sponsoring our fun girls' night out!
